New Hires and Promotions - September 2021

F&M Trust is pleased to announce the following recent hires and promotions: 

Anne BednarAnne Bednar has been hired as a Community Office Manager in the Mechanicsburg Community Office.

In her new role, she will be responsible for fulfilling sales, service, and referral needs of walk-in customers and ensuring that community office staff provide customers with a seamless banking experience.

She previously worked as Vice President and Community Banking Manager for S&T Bank.

She is pursuing a degree in business management at Harrisburg Area Community College.

The Harrisburg resident has served as a board member for Vision Resources of Central Pennsylvania.

Erin DetrowErin Detrow has been hired as a Staff Accountant in the Finance Department.

In her new role, she will prepare or assist in the preparation and filing of internal and external financial reports as required by various regulatory agencies and provide operational assistance to other members of the Finance team.

She previously worked in medical billing and quality assurance for Dynasplint Systems, Inc.

She holds an associate degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

The Hagerstown, Maryland resident loves to cook and enjoys sharing meals with family and friends. She also enjoys yoga, kayaking, and spending time with her Labrador puppy.

She will be based at F&M Trust’s corporate headquarters in Chambersburg.


Laura PotthoffLaura Potthoff has been hired as a Business Development Officer for the Greater Capital Region.

In her new role, she will be responsible for identifying, soliciting, and developing new banking relationships across the bank’s Commercial Services, Investment & Trust Services, and Retail Services divisions.

She previously worked as Director of Business and Workforce Development for the Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in strategic leadership.

She has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. The Carlisle resident enjoys hiking, playing golf, and watching football. She will be based at the Mechanicsburg Community Office.

Leahmond TyreLeahmond Tyre Jr. has been hired as a Business Banker in the Commercial Services division.

In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and managing a business banking portfolio within a designated market area of the bank and pursuing new business banking opportunities from current and prospective customers.

He previously worked as a Branch Manager III for Members 1st Federal Credit Union. He is a board member of Rotary Club of Harrisburg and previously served as secretary of Arc of Dauphin County.

The Harrisburg resident is a Philadelphia sports fan who enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. He will be based at F&M Trust’s regional office in Harrisburg.


Tessa Bishop has been hired as a Financial Services Representative in the Newville Community Office. In her new role, she will perform a wide array of transactions for and provide excellent service to current and new customers of the bank. She previously worked as office coordinator for North Ridge Mechanical LLC in Carlisle. She is a recent graduate of Shippensburg University.

Kaitlyn Hodges has been hired as a Financial Services Representative in the Marion Community Office. In her new role, she will perform a wide array of transactions for and provide excellent service to current and new customers of the bank. She previously worked as a deli clerk for Kroger. She is certified in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The Waynesboro resident volunteered at the Rescue Mission of Roanoke in Virginia.

Rodney Lewis has been hired as a Financial Services Representative in the Mechanicsburg Community Office. In his new role, he will perform a wide array of transactions for and provide excellent service to current and new customers of the bank. 

Robb Manning has been hired as a Data Operations Specialist. In his new role, he will assist customers with online/mobile banking inquiries, debit card inquiries, and ACH inquiries, and perform various duties related to network balancing, ATM assistance, debit card disputes, debit card processing, and fraud. He previously worked as a senior transaction services specialist for Sandy Spring Bank. He volunteered for Rebuilding Together in Howard County, Maryland. The Fayetteville resident likes to read and listen to music and podcasts. He also enjoys hiking, nature walks, and exploring caverns. He will be based at F&M Trust’s corporate headquarters in Chambersburg.

Zoe Clayton has been promoted from Data Operations Specialist to Executive Assistant.

Brittany Grove has been promoted from Financial Services Representative to Lead Financial Services Representative for the Orbisonia Community Office.

Alayna McClain has been promoted from full-time Financial Services Representative for the Carlisle Crossing Community Office to full-time Financial Services Representative III for the Mechanicsburg Community Office.

Mary Kate Mumper has been promoted from Assistant Community Office Manager for the Lincoln Way East Community Office to Community Office Manager for the McConnellsburg and Hustontown Community Offices.

Courtney Shauf has been promoted from Orchard Park Assistant Community Office Manager to Lincoln Way East Assistant Community Office Manager.

Megan Witmer has been promoted from Lead Financial Services Representative for the West Side Community Office to Assistant Community Office Manager for the Memorial Square Community Office.
