F&M Trust announces new hires and promotions - March 2022

F&M Trust is pleased to announce the following hires and promotions:


David LongDave Long has been hired as Chief Technology Officer.

In his new role, he will manage the Technology Services Department and be responsible for implementing strategies to achieve goals developed as part of the bank’s strategic plan and operating budgets. He will ensure information technology activities are secure, stable, and compliant, and he will evaluate and implement new systems and software upgrades.

He previously was Vice President and Director of Security and Infrastructure at Howard Bank.

“Dave brings a wealth of experience in many areas of banking and technology, and I look forward to the contributions he will make to F&M Trust. The bank faces evolving challenges in terms of safety and security when it comes to providing digitally based services to our customers, and Dave will help us effectively meet those challenges,” said Tim Henry, President and CEO of F&M Trust.

Long holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional designation, indicating that he can design, engineer, implement, and run an information security program.

He is based at F&M Trust’s corporate headquarters in Chambersburg.

 

Ryan BannisterRyan Bannister has been hired as a Mortgage Loan Officer for the Greater Capital Region.

In his new role, he will develop and manage a mortgage portfolio and pursue new mortgage opportunities from current and prospective customers, home builders and realtors.

He previously was Vice President of Mortgage Lending at Guaranteed Rate.

He is based at F&M Trust’s regional office in Harrisburg.

 

Christina WillsonChristina Willson has been hired as Treasury Relationship Manager.

In her new role, she will be responsible for delivering the bank’s treasury management products and services to prospective and existing commercial and small-business clients in Washington County, Maryland.

She previously was Vice President and Branch Leader for Truist Bank. She has volunteered for the Bridge of Hope financial literacy program.

She will be based at F&M Trust’s West Washington Street Office in Hagerstown.

 

Megan Arnold has been hired as a Financial Services Representative for the Boiling Springs Community Office. In her new role, she will perform a wide array of transactions for and provide excellent service to current and new customers of the bank. She previously was a Relationship Banker for Santander Bank.

Sandi Baker has been hired as an Estate Assistant in the Investment & Trust Services Department. In her new role, she will be responsible for performing various administrative, customer service, and office duties for the Estate and Tax Administration Officer and responding to inquiries and requests for information from customers. She previously was a legal secretary at Sharpe & Sharpe, LLP. She is based at F&M Trust’s corporate headquarters in Chambersburg.

Kendra Donelson has been hired as a Financial Services Representative for the Orbisonia Community Office. In her new role, she will perform a wide array of transactions for and provide excellent service to current and new customers of the bank.

Dennis Geissl has been hired as Salesforce Administrator. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management application, which is critical to the bank’s sales functions. He will work with stakeholders to customize the platform to achieve business goals and enable users to get the most out of Salesforce technology. He previously was Sales System Analyst for Envision Building Products. He will split his time between the regional office in Harrisburg and the corporate headquarters in Chambersburg.

Emily Grimes has been hired as a Loan Servicing Construction Specialist. In her new role, she will be responsible for tracking and monitoring construction projects within the commercial segment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the receipt of insurance, permits, and other pertinent information related to projects. She previously worked as a mortgage processor at Orrstown Bank. She is based at F&M Trust’s corporate headquarters in Chambersburg.

Jordan Keefer has been hired as a Financial Services Representative for the McConnellsburg Community Office. In her new role, she will perform a wide array of transactions for and provide excellent service to current and new customers of the bank. She previously worked as a mental health technician at the Roxbury Treatment Center.

Nathan Peters has been hired as a Financial Services Representative for the McConnellsburg Community Office. In his new role, he will perform a wide array of transactions for and provide excellent service to current and new customers of the bank. He previously worked as an ophthalmology assistant at Ludwick Eye Center.

Sondra Rohm has been hired as a Loan Servicing Construction Specialist. She previously worked at First Citizens Bank. She is based at F&M Trust’s corporate headquarters in Chambersburg.

Steve Streck has been hired as a Credit Analyst. In his new role, he will be responsible for completing analyses and providing to Relationship Managers information regarding commercial credits that is consistent with the bank’s prescribed loan policy and ensuring that the analyses provided accurately reflect the risks associated with the credits. He previously was a Business Banking Relationship Manager for PNC Bank. He is based at F&M Trust’s regional headquarters in Harrisburg.

Kayla Varner has been hired as a Financial Services Representative for the Norland Avenue Office. In her new role, she will perform a wide array of transactions for and provide excellent service to current and new customers of the bank. She previously worked as a Retail Banker at Woodforest National Bank.

Danielle Patterson has been promoted to Assistant Community Office Manager for the Mont Alto Community Office.

Kelly Reitz has been promoted to Treasury Specialist.

Quinn Smitran has been promoted to Financial Services Representative III at the Boiling Springs Community Office.
