F&M Trust donates $2,000 to support Mechanicsburg public library programs

F&M Trust recently donated $2,000 to support a series of programs at Joseph T. Simpson Public Library in Mechanicsburg.

The contribution will sponsor the library’s Run for Reading and Bowling for Books events, as well as the Family Fall Festival and the Family Holiday Party in 2024.

“We are so grateful for F&M Trust’s continuing support of the library with this special sponsorship,” saidTwo F&M Trust employees presenting a large check to a Joseph T. Simpson Library employee. Dawna Trump, development coordinator for the library. “This donation makes sure we can offer great events to the community, engaging more people with the library and our services.”

Joseph T. Simpson Public Library serves residents in the boroughs of Mechanicsburg and Shiremanstown, and in Monroe, Silver Spring, and Upper Allen townships.

“Libraries are important to our communities because they are welcoming, inclusive spaces that foster a sense of belonging,” F&M Trust President & CEO Tim Henry said. “The bank is proud to support Joseph T.
